Behavioural Issues


The behaviour of children has long been highlighted as an area of concern both inside and outside of football. Why do some people have total control over the most difficult group yet others fail to exhibit any control at all? Strategies for dealing with lively groups can be learned as can the methods of preparing for the group. At least if a coach has taken some time to prepare thet have given themselves a better chance of success than the coach who turns up and hope for the best. So what can a coach do to address this area?
