As long as children continue to suffer and die from Abuse the need for watchful and informed people to act as their protectors will exist. Caring people all wish that the need for such vigilant behaviour did not exist, but as long as there are people who harm youngsters then their vigilance will continue to be needed. Being aware of the signs and symptoms of abuse will certainly increase the chances of intervention that may ultimately stop abuse and perhaps save a child’s life.
